Weapons are the primary tool for slaying enemies in the world of Dream. The player begins every run with a Broken Sword which will persist until the Reforged Dussack is unlocked via the Blacksmith Idol in The Hub. A few weapons can be found by default, but most must be unlocked through actions like NPC dialog.

Sources and community notes
- Many weapons are named after real historical blades; each weapon page links to a Wikipedia article for the real-world weapon. These are background only and do not describe in-game behaviour.
- The Weapons guide covers the stat tables and unlock concepts. It disagrees with this wiki on the Rondel stats, the Hellsword speed and three unlocks (Sabre, Warsword, Hellsword); see those pages.
- A strategy guide advises matching the weapon to its stats rather than the reverse, since thrusting with a cutting weapon wastes most of its damage, and prefers reach so enemies can be kept at a distance.

From the official manual
- Fencing advice from the manual: repair the broken sword and improve its range as soon as possible; different weapons deal different damage on cut and on thrust; weapons differ in reach, speed and sometimes carry additional effects.
- Moving left and right changes your fencing guard between a Left Guard and a Right Guard. This mechanic is not otherwise described on this wiki.
- The manual uses the Rondel as its example of cut-versus-thrust mattering, saying it is useless at cutting because it lacks a sharp edge. That supports the Weapons guide's low cut figure over the one in this wiki's table; see Rondel.
From the game's official manual. Unlike the rest of the notes on this page, this is a primary source: it is the developer's own documentation, not community research.
