The Blacksmith Statue offers a one time upgrade that will permanently repair the Broken Sword, changing your starting weapon to the Reforged Dussack. Once this is done the blacksmith statue will serve no other purpose.

The repair costs 5 Dream Spheres and earns the "Blade Reforged" achievement.
