Sources and community notes

  • The 0.1.10 patch notes say the Reforged Dussack can now break; see Dussack Shard.
  • No page-specific forum or guide coverage was found for this page; the references below are the closest general ones.
  • A strategy guide says the repair does not last: after roughly enough time to clear a floor the sword breaks into two pieces, and the plain broken sword is the one worth picking up if nothing better has been found.

Community-sourced (added October 2026, not yet verified in-game). Sources: Steam patch notes 0.1.10 (Aug 5, 2024); Steam store page; Steam guide: How easly win almost all your runs by GettyX.

From the official manual

  • The manual's first piece of fencing advice is to find a way to repair the broken sword and improve its range as early as possible.

From the game's official manual. Unlike the rest of the notes on this page, this is a primary source: it is the developer's own documentation, not community research.
