Dussack Shard
A shard of what once was a weapon reforged by a god.
The upper portion of a broken sword belonging to a Blood Wizard. It seems useless at a glance, but the blade is still sharp enough to be used as a weapon.
The Dussack Shard, alongside the Broken Sword, are created when the Reforged Dussack is broken through use. Its damage is higher than the Broken Sword, and even slightly higher than the Reforged Dussack itself. This comes at the cost of range, and a slight self damage penalty upon using the weapon. This downside is not particularly worth it as its stats are still rather pathetic compared to other, better weapons.

Sources and community notes
- The 0.2 patch notes (Aug 23, 2024) list an increase to the self-damage dealt by the Dussack shard.
- The 0.1.10 patch notes say the Reforged Dussack can now break, which is how the shard comes about.
- A strategy guide advises against picking up the blade piece, because it damages you when you attack with it.
